Make an enquiryPeople come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a particular problem that has become difficult to manage; sometimes it is a pattern in relationships, work or everyday life that no longer feels sustainable.
I work collaboratively to develop a shared understanding of what is happening, drawing on psychological theory and evidence-based approaches. The aim is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help you gain insight and develop ways of responding that feel more workable and meaningful.
Exploring recurring patterns, conflict, attachment and interpersonal difficulties.
Support with depression, low mood and emotional distress that affects everyday life.
Making sense of pressure, change, loss, illness and periods of uncertainty.
I draw on a range of psychological therapies, including CBT, psychodynamic, compassion-focused, mentalisation-based, mindfulness, ACT, attachment-based and relational approaches.
The approach is shaped around the person, their goals and the difficulties they are experiencing.
