Therapy

A collaborative space to understand difficulties and make changes.

Psychological therapy for adults and older adults in Walthamstow and online.

Therapy can offer a space to slow things down, understand patterns that have become difficult to change, and explore different ways of responding. My role is to work with you to develop a psychological understanding that fits your experience rather than imposing a ready-made explanation.

I work with people experiencing a range of emotional, relational and psychological difficulties. The focus and pace of therapy are discussed together at the beginning and reviewed as the work develops.

Free 15-minute consultation. An initial conversation can help us establish what you are looking for and whether I may be able to help.

What therapy might involve

Depending on your circumstances, therapy may involve understanding patterns in relationships, exploring thoughts and emotions, developing new coping strategies, making sense of past experiences, or working directly on difficulties that are keeping you stuck.

Some people want focused work on a particular problem; others are looking for a broader exploration of longstanding patterns. We can discuss what would be most useful for you.

In person or online

Face-to-face sessions are offered from a consulting room in Walthamstow, E17, around five minutes from the station. Online therapy is also available for adults who prefer to work remotely.
